It can be a time then people are drawn towards toxin injections as they start to discover wrinkles or lines in their skin. Other people may experience a reduction in tissue quality making them look older than their age; however, they may not be ready for derma fillers. How does Profhilo work?

Profhilo is based on IBSA’s patented technology.

It uses hybrid cooperative complexes of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) at high & low molecular weights. This presents a unique concentration of Hyaluronic Acid to the market. The hybrid cooperative complexes generate a dual action, as a result of a slow, long-lasting release of high & low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid. It is possible to use Profhilo to remodel skin laxity in just 2 sessions, one month apart.

What results can I expect?

After a single Profhilo treatment (2 injections, a month apart) you can expect to see intense hydration which makes the skin glow. Fine lines may begin to disappear and smoother, tighter skin may be noticed. If you begin with very wrinkled skin, you should see an improvement in your skin's texture.

We recommended 2 treatments,  one month apart for the best long lasting results. Some improvement may be seen within the 7 - 10 days, however the best results will be evident a month following the 2nd treatment. The results you get from a Profhilo treatment usually last for up to 6 months.

Post Treatment Care

You may continue with your typical day-to-day activities following a Profhilo treatment, however, we would advise you not to wear makeup.

We would also suggest that you avoid going to the gym, steam-rooms,  swimming or saunas during the 24 hours after a treatment.
